The path to Fernmoss was overgrown — half the connecting vines were gone. Blaze pushed through the tangled undergrowth and found the village in chaos.
"We have three hundred and twenty-four doses of medicine for twelve Sprockets — that's what the record says. But only four of us are here now, and I didn't know what to change..." said Thistle, the acting medicine keeper.
"Stop," said Blaze. "You're dividing by the wrong number. There are four Sprockets here, not twelve. Let me recalculate."
